Profit Margin

Profit margin represents the percentage of profit a company makes for each dollar of revenue.

Profit margin is a financial metric that illustrates how much profit a company earns in relation to its revenue, typically expressed as a percentage. It measures the financial health of an organization and its efficiency in controlling costs relative to revenue generation. A higher profit margin indicates effective cost management and a strong ability to generate profit. For example, a profit margin of 20% means that the company makes 20 cents of profit for every dollar of revenue generated.
